First Aid Courses

SIS Ltd is accredited by HSE-FOFATO to deliver a variety of First Aid Courses within the workplace. All Tutors are qualified by experience and certificate and come from Industry.

H.S.E First Aid at Work 3 day course and 2 day refresher course
Legal requirement for all companies to have approved and qualified First Aid Personnel. Courses can be in-house or outside the work premises and can be broken down into time segments to suit the Client. We have provided first aid at work courses to many well known companies and well known brands such as Shell UK, Matalan, Wincanton, Warwick University, Heinz to name but a few.

Automated Defibrillator Courses
Presently current survival rates for heart attack and or patients in VF are around 6%. Hence 92% do not survive their ordeal. When taken into consideration that 74% of those patients given Automated External Defibrillator within 3 minutes , survive, the figures speak for themselves.

Complete Defribulator Course lasting 3 hours following latest Resus Council Guidelines and covers all Resuscitation Council (UK) core competences The course is suitable for all users of all makes of Automated External Defibrillator.

The Information and course content is simple, accurate with lots of pictures and diagrams in the course content and delivered by an Experienced First Aid professional.

Emergency First Aid at Work
To supplement approved and qualified First Aid Personnel and to give specialist tuition ( i.e. Burns, Arc Burns for Electricians). This comprehensive and extremely interesting day course is delivered on your premises, on a day that suits you and we listen to what you want, so the subjects taught are relevant to your business requirements.

Paediatric First Aid
The 12 hour course is delivered on your premises and can be broken down into time segments to suit the Client. This course is designed for individuals who work with young children and meets the requirements as laid down by the NCMA, Pre-School Learning Alliance, OFSTED and Surestart to meet the requirements of the National Standards for the purpose of registering as an early years professional.  All childminders in England and Wales are required to undertake the qualification.
